The Clarion-Venango Farm Bureau is raising concerns about the impact of proposed data centers on Pennsylvania farmland.
ExploreVanango.Com reports, during a recent seminar in Clarion, Farm Bureau legislative liaison Emily O’Brien discussed Senate Bill 225, which would require compensation for the loss of business or farm goodwill when property is taken through eminent domain. Senator Cris Dush says the measure is designed to better protect family farms and small businesses.
The seminar also highlighted Clarion-Limestone High School’s student-run Lion Manufacturing program, which gives students hands-on experience in modern manufacturing and agriculture.
