State police are investigating after an 84-year-old Punxsutawney woman reported losing about $37,000 in an apparent scam.
Troopers were called to Brown Road in Young Township at about 12:32 p.m. on Aug. 10 after the woman reported the theft.
The investigation remains ongoing.
