One person was killed Friday morning when a vehicle struck a fallen tree along Route 36 just north of Tionesta in Forest County.
Warren County 9-1-1 said the crash was reported around 8:28 a.m. Emergency crews from Pennsylvania State Police, Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department, Tionesta Ambulance Service and West Hickory Volunteer Fire Department responded. The roadway was cleared around 10:33 a.m.
Forest County Coroner Norman Wimer confirmed the death but said additional details would not be released until the victim’s family is notified.
