A 65-year-old Apollo man is accused of voting for president in both Alaska and Pennsylvania during the November 2024 election.
According to WTAJ News, Federal prosecutors say Jeffrey Pope submitted mail-in ballots in both states. Pope was registered as a Republican according to the state Department of State, which referred the case to federal prosecutors.
Pope faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.
