Jon F. Mendenhall, 58, of Shippenville, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026, at Butler Hospital.
Born January 25,1968 in Warren, he was the son of the late Kathy Eck Mendenhall.
On July 13, 2013, he married the former Kim Smith. She survives.
Prior to retirement in 2010 he had been employed as a Cullet Hauler for O-I.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Kim, he is survived by his sons, Braxton Dolby and Randy Keener; his daughters, Markelle Smith and Kyrsten (Tim) Keener; his grandchildren, Marshall, Hayden, Jaxxon, Liam, Sloan, Sawyer, Rhyley and Brendan; and his dog, Meeka.
His mother and grandparents preceded him in death.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville was honored to be entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Mendenhall.
