Pennsylvania State Police will conduct a DUI sobriety checkpoint somewhere in Jefferson County during this month.
Troopers with PSP Punxsutawney say the location and time of the checkpoint will not be announced in advance. Police say the operation is aimed at identifying and removing drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs from area roadways.
State police say a zero-tolerance policy will be enforced for DUI-related offenses.
