Clarion County commissioners approved a $100,000 mental health awareness campaign to promote the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
According to ExploreClarion.com, the yearlong outreach effort, funded through restricted mental health dollars, will include social media, billboards, printed materials and community events to boost awareness and increase use of the crisis service.
Officials said the campaign’s success will be measured by tracking monthly 988 calls and texts from Clarion County.
