The National Weather Service has confirmed at least three tornadoes touched down across western and central Pennsylvania on Saturday.
One tornado was reported in Summerville, Jefferson County, and continued north of Punxsutawney, where additional damage was reported. Another was confirmed as an EF-1 near Whiteside in Clearfield County, with peak winds of about 110 mph during a two-minute path. A third tornado touched down near McChesneytown-Loyalhanna in Westmoreland County before likely dissipating in the Allegheny Mountains.
Storm surveys are underway to determine the final paths and intensities of the tornadoes.
