The Pennsylvania Game Commission has approved the acquisition of the remaining 12.5% interest in a 59-acre tract in Bell Township, Clearfield County, giving the agency full ownership of the property within State Game Land 87.
The action came during the commission’s meeting Friday in Harrisburg, where members also finalized updated elk management area hunt zones following public comment.
Officials said the land purchase completes an acquisition that began with the approval of an 87.5% interest earlier this year.
