A Clymer woman was sentenced to up to two years minus one day in the Indiana County Jail after admitting she stole more than $250,000 from The Open Door of Indiana County while employed there.
Prosecutors said 55-year-old Carol J. Polenik used the money for personal expenses, including online gambling, and attempted to conceal the thefts by destroying records. She will also serve four years of probation after her release and is scheduled to begin her sentence July 31.
