A man is facing multiple charges after police said he strangled a woman, barricaded himself inside a Clearfield County home with a juvenile and threatened to shoot officers during a domestic disturbance early Saturday.
WJAC News reports Police said officers responded to a home on Turnpike Avenue in Clearfield around 3:15 a.m., rescued the juvenile unharmed and took the suspect into custody after forcing entry into a barricaded bedroom. Authorities said the suspect fought with officers, spit blood on two officers, threw himself down a staircase and injured two officers during the arrest.
The female victim was also reportedly struck in the face.
