A 52-year-old Punxsutawney man is accused of assaulting a Pennsylvania State Police trooper during a mental health-related call in Young Township.
Troopers said they responded to a residence on Cemetery Road around 4:24 a.m. June 19, where the man allegedly punched one trooper in the face and attempted to strike the trooper two more times.
The investigation remains ongoing.
