A 77-year-old Punxsutawney man is facing charges after police said he was seen performing a lewd act inside his pickup truck in the Punxsy Plaza parking lot on June 21.
According to explorejeffersonpa.com, a witness reported the incident while loading groceries and later identified the suspect, Jesus Jasso, through a photograph provided by police. Investigators said Jasso admitted to the conduct during an interview and apologized. He has been charged with third-degree misdemeanor open lewdness and summary disorderly conduct.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 31 before a district judge.
