Jefferson County officials say the tornado that struck the Anita area on June 14 has been upgraded from an EF2 after additional damage surveys by the National Weather Service.
Officials said aerial footage revealed more extensive damage than was visible from the ground.
The tornado traveled nearly 4 miles with peak winds of 115 mph, damaging a barn and uprooting numerous trees.
