Pennsylvania State Police say they will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Jefferson County in June as part of a statewide effort to reduce impaired driving and improve roadway safety.
Pennsylvania State Police Punxsutawney announced that members of Troop C will operate the checkpoint at an undisclosed time and location, focusing on identifying drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Officials said a zero-tolerance enforcement policy will be in effect for all DUI-related violations encountered during the initiative.
