A passenger was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Jefferson County earlier this month, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said Brianna Stiver, 30, of Rossiter, had stopped her Honda Accord on Route 119 in Young Township to make a left turn onto Cunningham Road when her vehicle was struck from behind by a Nissan Sentra driven by Randy Reitz Jr., 38, of Punxsutawney, around 6:09 p.m. on May 8. Police said the impact pushed the Honda more than 70 feet down the roadway, while the Nissan spun into a nearby field. A passenger in the Honda, identified as Ky Stiver, 30, of Rossiter, suffered possible injuries and was transported by Jefferson County EMS to Punxsutawney Emergency Department for treatment.
Both drivers were uninjured, authorities said.
