A passing violation on Route 38 led to a two-vehicle crash in Butler County late Sunday morning, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said David L. Pore, 66, of Kittanning, was attempting to turn left onto Hindman Road in a 2017 Dodge Durango around 10:51 a.m. when a 1998 Dodge RAM driven by Charles D. Schweinsberg, 66, of Parker, tried to pass in the left lane and struck the SUV on the driver’s side. The crash occurred at the intersection of Oneida Valley Road and Hindman Road in Concord Township. Police said neither driver was injured, though the Durango sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Schweinsberg was cited for passing in a no-passing zone.
