A group of four women is facing misdemeanor charges in Clarion County after Pennsylvania State Police alleged they conspired to steal more than $600 worth of merchandise from the Walmart in Monroe Township.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, the women allegedly filled bags with 67 unpaid items on April 3 while shopping for Easter outfits. Police said surveillance video and statements from the suspects helped lead to charges of retail theft and criminal conspiracy.
Preliminary hearings are scheduled for May 26 before District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller.
