State police in Jefferson County have charged a Polk Township husband and wife following an alleged domestic dispute that turned physical and left two people injured.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com Randy Lee Pierce Jr., 39, and Crystal Renee Pierce, 32, both of Brockway, face simple assault and harassment charges after an altercation May 10 at a Forest Road residence. Police allege Crystal Pierce bit and scratched a male victim who intervened in an argument, while she told troopers Randy Pierce grabbed her by the throat and threw her to the ground multiple times, resulting in a fractured finger.
Both were arraigned May 12 and released on $15,000 unsecured bail. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for June 22.
