Authorities in Clarion County have charged a former Army recruiter with multiple felony theft offenses after investigators alleged he misused more than $41,000 in Department of Defense funds for personal expenses at bars, restaurants and retailers in the Clarion area.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, 33-year-old Caleb Nathaniel Natali, now of Youngstown, Ohio, allegedly made hundreds of unauthorized purchases and ATM withdrawals using a government-issued travel card between 2021 and 2022.
Court documents state Natali was arraigned Wednesday and released on his own recognizance, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 9.
