A 39-year-old DuBois man was injured Monday afternoon after crashing an electric bicycle in Falls Creek Borough, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said Kurt A. Odgers was riding east on the shoulder of Washington Avenue around 4:05 p.m. when the e-bike’s front braking system engaged, causing the bicycle to pitch forward and throw him over the handlebars onto the pavement. Odgers suffered facial injuries and was transported by Amserv Ltd. DuSan Ambulance to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.
Falls Creek Fire Department personnel also assisted at the scene.
