A 33-year-old Dayton man was injured Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Farmington Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said John S. Forehand was driving north on Miola Road around 1:19 p.m. when his Jeep left the roadway, traveled through a ditch for about 60 yards, struck a culvert and a mailbox, and overturned onto its passenger side. Forehand, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered suspected injuries and was taken by ambulance to Clarion Hospital. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Forehand was cited for failing to drive at a safe speed, police said.
