The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced a lane closure on Interstate 80 westbound in Jefferson County will begin today, weather permitting, as part of the North Fork Bridges Project.
The right lane just east of Richardsville Road will be closed for about a week to allow paving work. Officials said motorists should use caution, follow posted speeds, and watch for crews in the work zone.
The project includes replacing multiple bridges over and along I-80 and is expected to be completed in summer 2028.
