A 35-year-old driver was not injured after his vehicle struck a construction sign along Interstate 80 in Jefferson County on April 14, state police said.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois, Joseph G. Rearick was traveling east in a 2016 Honda Accord when he swerved to avoid a merging vehicle, lost control, and crossed both lanes before hitting the sign.
The impact caused a driver-side curtain airbag to deploy, and authorities said Rearick was wearing a seat belt at the time.
