A 39-year-old Clarion man is facing a felony charge after authorities say he struck a state trooper during a domestic disturbance investigation in Jefferson County.
ExploreJeffersonPa.Com is reporting that police allege Christopher Dennis Reynolds became aggressive while being questioned Sunday and punched a trooper before resisting arrest. According to court documents, Reynolds was intoxicated and had reportedly handled a knife during the incident, though no injuries were reported. He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, and is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $25,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 23.
