A 49-year-old New York man is facing a misdemeanor charge after allegedly stealing two alcoholic beverages from a Sheetz store in Monroe Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Authorities said Christopher Anthony Rigothi, of Poughkeepsie, concealed two White Claw drinks valued at $5.98 and left the store without paying on April 2. Troopers later located Rigothi and recovered the items from his vehicle. He was arraigned the same day before a district judge, unable to post $5,000 bail, and was lodged in the Clarion County Jail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 14.
