A Brockway woman is facing multiple charges after authorities say she crashed her vehicle into a Jefferson County home while under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
ExploreJeffersonPa.Com reports, the Feb. 20 crash occurred when the driver, identified as 36-year-old Kelsi Marlene Alderton, lost control of a 2012 Jeep Patriot, which struck a porch and rolled down an embankment. A man, his wife, and their two children were inside the home at the time but were not injured. According to police, Alderton had a blood alcohol content of 0.161%, and tests also showed marijuana and methamphetamine in her system.
She is charged with DUI, reckless endangerment, and related offenses, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 28.
