A DuBois man was sentenced to state prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a young girl during a camping trip at Parker Dam in 2023.
According to GantNews.Com, 39 year-old William Clarence Boganwright, was ordered Tuesday last week to serve two to four years in prison, followed by three years of consecutive probation, after pleading guilty to felony aggravated indecent assault of a person younger than 13 and misdemeanor indecent assault. Authorities said the victim reported the abuse to a teacher in November 2023, prompting an investigation that led to Boganwright’s arrest.
Boganwright is required to complete sex offender counseling, have no contact with the victim or unsupervised contact with minors, and register under Megan’s Law.
