No arrests have been made in a fatal shooting that happened one year ago yesterday at the Chevy Chase Community Center in White Township.
The shooting was reported at 12:30 AM at a non-university-sanctioned IUP Homecoming party. The victim, 22-year-old Jamar Montae Porterfield Harriot, Jr. of Homestead was killed in the shooting and eight others were injured. Our sister station WCCS reached out to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office, and they said they have nothing they can release publicly, except for the fact that the case is pending.
