A former Curwensville man, 38 year-old Mark Allen Juart, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a young girl. GantNews.Com reports, Juart, already a state prison inmate, was sentenced to 30 months to six years in prison and six years of re-entry probation for indecent assault and corruption of minors.
He must register as a sexually violent predator for life. The abuse was reported after the girl told her cousin, leading to an investigation. Juart denied the crimes but failed a polygraph test. Another victim from Indiana reported similar abuse, resulting in additional charges. Juart later confessed to molesting both girls and is currently serving time for previous convictions.
