A Clearfield County man was ordered to serve time in state prison for sex-related crimes. In Indiana County Court yesterday morning, 64-year-old Manas Lee of Westover was convicted on six counts of rape and one count of sexual intercourse with an animal.
The charges are for multiple incidents that reportedly happened between 2000 and 2015. Lee was ordered to serve a total of 20 to 50 years in state prison for his guilty plea, while six counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a minor were not prosecuted. He was also deemed a sexually violent predator, meaning that If he is released from prison, he must register as a sexually violent predator for the rest of his life.
