A Pennsylvania man, Steven Scaife II, 34, has been charged with selling moonshine from his father’s tire and repair shop in Houtzdale.
According to WTAJ News, police conducted multiple undercover purchases of moonshine from the shop, with Scaife’s father participating in the transactions. Evidence included several jars of moonshine and a confession from Scaife that he had produced 50 gallons since October 2022.
Scaife faces misdemeanor charges for unlawful liquor sales and distilling alcohol without a license.
