At a recent meeting, Susan H. Robertson, Punxsutawney Area School District business administrator, presented the proposed 2024-2025 budget.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, It includes wage increases, payroll costs, property services, and more, totaling $54,170,635 with a net expenditure increase of $2,098,876. The budget outlines allocations for salaries, benefits, transportation, supplies, and debt service.
Revenue sources include local real estate taxes and projected increases in earned income and interest income.
The board will vote on displaying the budget at tonight’s meeting.
