With the NFL draft coming up April 25th through the 27th, the Steelers have been busily scouting players, and they hosted at least four yesterday at the team’s facility on Pittsburgh’s South Side.
Among those at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex were Penn State defensive back Daequan Hardy, Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske, Kentucky cornerback Andru Phillips, and Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley.
Teams can host as many as thirty prospects before the draft, plus local college players who don’t count against that total.
NFL Insider Aaron Wilson reports the Steelers also yesterday hosted free agent veteran linebacker Kahleke Hudson, who was a 2020 fifth round draft pick of the Washington Commanders. A former safety at Michigan, Hudson has started 12 games in his career and played mostly on special teams.
