A DuBois man, Franky Alan Crandell, pleaded guilty to giving marijuana to a 10-year-old boy.
Originally facing a felony, he admitted to one misdemeanor count. President Judge Ammerman sentenced him to six months to one year in jail with 18 months probation. The boy’s mother, Joesy E. Gindlesperger, also pleaded guilty. Both parents justified it, citing the boy’s ADHD.
They even sought a medical marijuana card for him.
