A Blairsville family was displaced as their home along North Liberty Street was gutted by fire yesterday morning around 9:45.
David Palmer, who lived in the home, said that his daughter initially smelled smoke. Palmer was able to get everyone out and they are staying with nearby relatives. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
