A tragic accident occurred on Route 422 Highway East in Indiana County, involving a 17-year-old driver and 56-year-old John C. Kieger.
The teen’s Jeep crossed into the eastbound lanes, colliding with Kieger’s Toyota. Kieger tragically passed away at the scene, while his passenger, Carissa Kieger, sustained serious injuries. The driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation. All occupants were wearing seat belts.
