The Punxsutawney Borough Council approved requests for borough facilities, including a drug take-back event in April.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, Zak Lantz, from the Clearfield Jefferson Drug & Alcohol Commission, requested to use Barclay Square for a prescription drug take-back event on April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with games and entertainment provided.
They encourage the community to bring expired medications and other items for donation.
