The number of Pennsylvania children without insurance has been steadily climbing over the past few years.
A report by the Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children says about 145-thousand kids are currently missing health insurance. The rate ticked up from 4.4% in 2021 to 5.2% just a year later. The report speculates that the number of insured kids will continue to decrease as more coverage offered during COVID continues to be phased out.
