Officials with UPMC have announced that the mask mandate that was implemented at all facilities, will end today.
The mandate went into effect December 20 following a surge in several ailments, including COVID-19, flu and RSV. The state Department of Health noted decreases in flu, RSV and COVID-19 from the week before, but COVID-related emergency room visits are still high.
