Downtown DuBois Inc. is among 30 communities chosen for Main Street America’s rural entrepreneurship program, backed by the Kauffman Foundation.
According to GantNews.com, they’ll receive grants to help local entrepreneurs start and grow businesses, with a focus on overcoming barriers. This initiative aims to create a supportive ecosystem for rural entrepreneurs, including an incubator program and professional development opportunities.
Main Street America will provide on-the-ground support and virtual programming to implement these practices, fostering economic growth in places like DuBois.
