A house fire in Jefferson County left one person injured on Monday morning.
Crews from the Sigel Fire Department arrived at the scene to heavy smoke and flames, but high winds caused the fire to spread, resulting in the home being declared a total loss. The blaze was ruled accidental caused by a portable heater.
