A woman and her father in Clearfield County face animal cruelty charges after a dog, Duke, was found shot in the woods.
According to WJAC News, they allegedly took Duke to a wooded area where a teenager shot him with a pistol. Duke was later discovered with a muzzle tied around his mouth.
He is recovering at a veterinary clinic. Both adults face felony and misdemeanor charges, and a preliminary hearing is set for April 10.
