At the Punxsutawney Borough Council meeting, the Chairman of the Punxsutawney Municipal Airport Authority, Rick Young discussed the airport’s lack of insurance on its buildings due to budget constraints.
Todays Punxsutawney Spirit says, they’re exploring funding options and hope to include it in the budget this coming year. The council also approved a Memorial Day parade request and addressed parking issues in the township.
