Flu cases in Pennsylvania dropped last week by 71 in the most recent statistics.
The state Health Department says Type A flu is waning while Type B is flaring up, which is typical as the flu season enters its latter stages. The number of flu deaths rose from 181 to 206.
The 25 newly recorded deaths are a significant slowdown from the week before when there were 61.
