A Fire displaces four families in Jefferson County as the investigation continues.
According to WJAC News, A fire erupted in a Perry Township apartment building along Route 536, prompting a swift response from fire crews. Flames engulfed the upper level, with intense heat even melting siding across the road. Multiple fire departments, including Ringgold and Oliver Township, rushed to the scene to contain the blaze.
Thankfully, all residents and firefighters escaped unharmed, though some pets were lost. Edison Yeager, the building manager, expressed gratitude despite the loss, urging support for the affected families. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the fire marshal.
