Republican state lawmakers including; State Reps Brian Smith, and Jim Struzzi plus Senator Joe Pittman are criticizing Pennsylvania Governor Shapiro’s spending plan.
Shapiro pitched his budget yesterday at the state Capitol. The 48-billion-dollar plan contains no tax hikes and features 975 million dollars for state universities and community colleges. However, some GOP lawmakers say Shapiro is “all talk and no action.”
Representative Josh Kail says they’re already developing their own legislation to tackle education funding, permitting reform, and other issues.
