At Tuesday night’s Homer City Borough Council meeting, it was announced that K-9 officer, Thor, is going to retire.
His effective retirement date is set for March 1st. Council president Joe Izzei, Sr. said that during his ten years as an officer, Thor and his partner, Chief Anthony Jellison, were a big help to Homer City and other police departments.
