The identity of the person who died in an accident on Tuesday in Jefferson Township has been released.
Media reports indicate the crash claimed the life of 20-year-old Kaitlynn Beatty from Irwin, Pa. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. near Glades Pike and Tree Army Road, with Beatty succumbing to blunt-force trauma to the chest.
State police continue to investigate the cause of the three-vehicle crash.
