State Police in Punxsutawney charged 69-year-old Kenneth F. Tejchman of Chicora on January 26 for furnishing pure grain alcohol to a minor.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com, Troopers responded to a report of underage drinking on September 1, 2023, at the 800 block of Kerner Road. Tejchman, admitting to offering 180-proof Moonshine, allegedly he didn’t inquire about the age of the juvenile who ended up consuming the entire quart. The juvenile’s BAC was later found to be 0.340%.
Tejchman faces a charge of furnishing alcohol to a minor, and a preliminary hearing is set for February 28 at 11:15 a.m.
